Ravenscliffe’s Summer Sounds Festival

What a day! We were delighted to be a part of Ravenscliffe’s Summer Sounds Festival 2024. Live music from brilliant bands, school pupils and staff, DJ sets and dance acts. Such a lovely atmosphere, despite the rainy summer day. We managed to raise a fantastic £1400 for the school, which will go towards outdoor equipment/spaces for the students to enjoy.

It truly is a magic place, full of lovely people. We are looking forward to next year’s fest and praying for some sun! Thank you to Ravenscliffe for hosting and making us feel a part of the family.

Reuben’s Retreat

Another honour this month, Lucy and Becca had the opportunity to go and meet the team at Reuben’s Retreat. A truly magical place that supports families of complexly poorly children and families of child loss.

We were shown around the incredible site by Shannon – Fundraising Champion. We were blown away by the team’s passion, care and the incredible impact they were having to families in need.

Phoenix donated a barrel of Hopsack to Reuben’s Retreat, who had a stand at Stockport Beer Festival. We are told the festival went really well, what a great effort from all their team!

We were also chuffed to of been able to donate £200 from the Summer Sounds festival, with the support of Ravenscliffe High school, who were more than happy to share the takings from the bar with this fantastic charity.

• £10 provides a bereavement book to a sibling who has lost their brother or sister.
• £25 donates a well-being session to a parent.
• £30 donates a memory-making session in our sensory room.
• £55 provides a hydrotherapy swim session for a family in our pool.
• £60 provides a counselling session for a parent grieving the loss of their child.

We look forward to working with Reuben’s Retreat again soon!
